Dr Deepthi Iyer

Dr. Deepthi Iyer is a General Practitioner at Medical One, with a focus on youth health, mental health, women's health, and pediatrics since February 2012. Concurrently, Dr. Iyer serves as a lecturer and examiner at the University of Melbourne, while pursuing a PhD that investigates young Australian women's views on dating and dating violence. As a GP facilitator for the Sustainable Primary Care Family Violence Program, Dr. Iyer trains clinics in recognizing and addressing family violence. Dr. Iyer has held various leadership roles, including board member for Women's Health East and General Practice Registrars Australia, as well as authoring chapters on dating violence for the White Book published by the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Dr. Iyer holds multiple degrees in medicine, including a PhD in Medicine from the University of Melbourne and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
