Senior Vice-president And Chief Legislative Counsel at Medical Society of the State of New York

Morris Auster has extensive experience in legislative and regulatory affairs. Morris worked for the Medical Society of the State of New York from 1998 to present, holding various roles such as Senior Vice-President and Chief Legislative Counsel. In this position, they drafted and negotiated legislation and regulations on physician practice issues. Morris also advocated to members of the New York State Legislature, Executive Branch, and New York Congressional Delegation. Prior to this, they worked as an Associate Counsel in the New York State Assembly Majority Leader's Office from 1997 to 1998. In this role, they drafted and negotiated legislation and analyzed and prepared reports on various issues.

Morris Auster's education history includes attending Red Hook High School. After graduating from high school, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Government at the University at Albany, SUNY, from 1988 to 1992. Following that, they attended Albany Law School from 1992 to 1995, where they obtained a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.
