Peter Rehse

Peter Rehse has a strong background in research and development, with expertise in protein structure and biology. Peter has held various positions throughout their career, including Vice President of Business Development at Shanghai Medicilon Inc., Senior Director of Structure Biology and Fragment Screening at BioFocus, and Visiting Scientist at the Shanghai Institute of Biological Sciences. Prior to these roles, Rehse worked as a Research Scientist at RIKEN, focusing on solving protein structures and developing insecticides. Peter also served as a Research Professional at the Centre de Recherche du CHUL, where they designed inhibitors for steroid converting enzymes. Additionally, they have held research positions at the Research Institute of Advanced Technology for the Earth, the Agency of Industrial Science and Technology, the National Research Council - Biotechnology Research Institute, and the Photon Factory, National Laboratory for High Energy Physics. Peter Rehse completed their Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Biochemistry at Memorial University of Newfoundland from 1978 to 1983. Peter then pursued a Master's degree in Biochemistry from the same university, which they completed from 1983 to 1986. Subsequently, Peter attended Birkbeck, University of London from 1986 to 1989, where they obtained a Ph.D. in Structural Biology.
