Aliza Lopez has a diverse range of work experience in various organizations. In 2020, they co-founded and served as the Co-Chief Executive Officer of Medicine Encompassed, a student-run organization promoting awareness and accessibility in the medical field. Aliza also held the role of Chief Academic Officer and Mentorship Initiative Co-Lead within the same organization.

Aliza Lopez earned a Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience (BS) and Health, Behavior, & Society (BA) with an intended minor in Legal Studies from the University of Rochester, which they attended from 2023 to 2027. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at North Brunswick Township High School, where they received a High School Diploma with a focus on the STEM Academy (Engineering) from 2019 to 2023. Additionally, Aliza participated in the Science Honors Program at Columbia University from 2021 to 2023. Aliza has obtained several certifications, including Social / Behavioral / Epidemiologic Research Investigators from the CITI Program in February 2023, a Digital Trials Center Certificate from Scripps Research in 2022, and completed courses such as "Identifying Early Signs of Psychosis in Adolescents and Young Adults" from Stanford Online in 2020. Aliza is also a Young Member of the New York Academy of Sciences, which they achieved in May 2020.
