Chao Sang

Chao Sang currently serves as a Senior Data Scientist at Medidata Solutions since December 2022, having previously held the same title at Novasenta from November 2020 to December 2022, where expertise in discovering new drug targets for cancer treatment, dimensionality reduction, and cross-functional collaboration was demonstrated. Prior experience includes a tenure as a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of Pittsburgh from April 2015 to September 2020, focusing on predictive modeling for aneurysm rupture risk and developing deep learning models to assess tissue properties. Additional roles include a Teaching Assistant at the University of Pittsburgh, contributing to education in mechanical measurements, and a Research Consultant at Alucent Biomedical, Inc., where testing protocols for novel therapies in vascular disease were designed. Chao Sang earned a PhD and Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and a Bachelor's Degree from Southeast University.
