Robert Lyons

Robert Lyons is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in software engineering and data architecture. Currently serving as Vice President of Engineering at Medidata Solutions since November 2019, Robert previously held key leadership roles as Founder and CEO of Epiphanous Consulting and as Senior Architect at Athlinks. Robert's career includes co-founding multiple startups, such as BazuSports and Nextrials, where innovative technology solutions were developed for endurance events and clinical trial management, respectively. Robert has a strong academic background with a PhD in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley, and has contributed to the educational policy field as a research associate at Boston College.
