Matthias Greuling

Matthias Greuling is an accomplished journalist, film journalist, and director with extensive experience in the media and film industry. Since January 2010, Matthias has been working with Wiener Zeitung Mediengruppe, contributing as a journalist in various capacities. In addition, Matthias has directed and written for the feature documentary "Der Bauer zu Nathal" (2018) through Matthias Greuling Filmproduktion, established in April 2003. As Chefredakteur and Herausgeber at Celluloid Filmmagazin since June 2000, Matthias plays a significant role in shaping film criticism and discourse. Contributions as a film critic and writer on media and culture have been made for Die Furche, while previous roles include film critic and interviewer for Salzburger Nachrichten and editorship at KURIER Medienhaus. Matthias holds a Bachelor of Arts in Film from the University of Vienna and possesses a degree in directing from the New York Film Academy, obtained in 1998.
