Joe Evans

Joe Evans is an experienced sales manager and entrepreneur with a robust background in the insurance industry. Currently serving as the Iowa Sales Manager for both MercyOne Health Plan and MediGold, Joe has also established and managed the JEGA Group since 2010, promoting voluntary benefits through strategic partnerships. Joe's leadership skills are demonstrated through roles in the Iowa Association of Health Underwriters, where service included positions as President and Membership Chair. Previous experience includes serving as District Sales Manager for Colonial Life, focusing on brand promotion and broker partnerships in Iowa, as well as significant roles at Aflac, encompassing recruitment and training of sales teams. Joe holds a Bachelor of Science in Communication from the University of Iowa and has been dedicated to expanding opportunities and developing talent throughout a career that spans several decades.
