IT Principal, PDP at MedImpact

Michael Santarcangelo has extensive work experience in IT and business systems analysis. Michael began their career as an Applications Analyst at Jackson Products, Inc., where they researched and implemented software solutions. Michael then moved on to AT&T, where they held roles as a Quality Assurance and System Level Test Analyst, and later as a Senior Analyst in Application Development. At AT&T, they were responsible for developing high level system designs, creating detail designs, coding, and providing 24/7 on-call support.

After their time at AT&T, Santarcangelo joined Epsilon as a Senior Business Systems Analyst, where they managed client program enhancement requests and assisted clients with platform enhancement concepts. Michael then transitioned to MedImpact Healthcare Systems, Inc. in 2007, first as a Senior Business Systems Analyst, and later as the IT Principal for the Medicare Part D / PDP business unit. In these roles, they led the analysis, development, and implementation of technical solutions to support various aspects of the business.

At MedImpact, Santarcangelo's responsibilities included relational database modeling, guiding internal application design and development, selecting third-party software solutions, developing file exchanges for vendor interfaces, performing website maintenance, providing financial data mining, and assisting in ad hoc reporting requests. Michael also defined and documented requirements, developed project plans, prioritized tasks, and supported development and quality assurance teams.
