Shaneel Patel

Shaneel Patel is a Clinical Pharmacist at Oscar Health since January 2021 and has been a Pharmacist in Utilization Management at MedImpact Healthcare Systems, Inc. since August 2017. In the latter role, Shaneel provides clinical support services, including the review and analysis of prior authorization and medical exception requests, while also ensuring the development and implementation of medication request guidelines. Previous experience includes serving as a Clinical Services Pharmacist at Humana, where interactions with members focused on counseling and medication cost-effectiveness, and as a Staff Pharmacist at CVS Health, recognized as Arizona Pharmacist of the Week in February 2016.
