Rory Spears

Rory Spears is an experienced professional in the golf and media industries, currently serving as a Golf Operations Associate at Medinah Country Club since February 2024. With a long-standing role as the host of the award-winning Golfers on Golf Radio and Director of Content and Creation for Golfers on Golf since April 2009, Rory has successfully contributed to the program's financial growth. Rory also holds the position of President at Spears Sports Communications, established in 1985, and has been a Chicago Bureau Reporter and Sports Director at NBC News Radio since 1998. Additional experience includes outdoor operations at Heritage Oaks Golf Club and pro shop operations at The Grove Country Club. Rory has contributed to various publications as a columnist and writer, providing insights on local golf events.
