Shawn Fergason

Shawn Fergason has a wealth of experience in information technology and management roles. Shawn is currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Information Technology at MediQuant, a position they have held since August 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President of Information Technology at the same company from March 2019 to August 2022. Before joining MediQuant, Shawn worked at Life Line Screening from 2007 to 2018, where they held various roles including Director of Technology and Senior IT Group Manager. Shawn was responsible for leading and managing the IT department, recruiting and training staff, and overseeing projects and operations. Shawn also worked at Progressive Insurance as an Application Systems Analyst / Programmer IV, where they managed the Online Services software development life cycle and coordinated releases between project teams. Additionally, they worked at MSApple Technologies as an IT Consultant, providing support to key clients and developing technical designs. Shawn started their career at Scott Process Systems, Inc as a Computer Systems Manager, where they participated in the development and implementation of ERP systems. Overall, Shawn Fergason has a strong background in IT leadership and management, with experience in various industries.

Shawn Fergason has an extensive education history. Shawn earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Computer Information Systems from Harding University, where they studied from 1997 to 2001. Following this, they pursued higher education at The University of Akron, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Accounting from 2003 to 2007.

In addition to their degrees, Shawn Fergason has acquired several certifications. Shawn obtained the PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)® certification from the Project Management Institute in September 2016. In December 2015, they earned the ITIL® V3 Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from EXIN. Prior to these certifications, Shawn obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification in July 2013, also from the Project Management Institute. Furthermore, they achieved the MCITP Enterprise Administrator on Windows 2008 certification from Microsoft in September 2012, and the MCTS SQL Server 2005 certification from Microsoft in November 2010.
