Gonçalo Cardoso Coelho

Gonçalo Cardoso Coelho is an experienced professional in the fields of risk management and internal audit, currently serving as a Risk Internal Audit Manager at MeDirect Malta since June 2023. Previously held the position of Risk Internal Auditor at Banco Montepio, where responsibilities included conducting internal audit missions related to financial and non-financial risks. Prior to that, Gonçalo worked as an Audit Associate at PwC focusing on external audits in the banking sector, and held roles in corporate actions and retail banking at BNP Paribas and Caixa Geral de Depósitos, respectively. Gonçalo's educational background includes a postgraduate degree in Data Science for Finance from NOVA IMS, a Master of Science in Finance from ISEG, and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Évora, among other qualifications.
