Catherine Ekbom EVP, FHFMA, CRCR Betz Mitchell serves as the Executive Vice President at Betz Mitchell since April 1993 and holds the position of Director of Revenue Cycle at Medisys Health Network, Inc. since August 2017. In addition, Catherine has been the Director of Patient Financial Services at Flushing Hospital since May 2015. Catherine is actively involved with the HFMA Metro New York organization, currently serving on the Board of Directors since April 2015 and previously held the role of President from April 2019 to June 2023, during which Catherine expressed pride in leading an exceptional team of leaders and members. Other roles within HFMA include President Elect, Vice President of Education, and Executive Board Treasurer.
