Michael Arends

Michael Arends has a diverse work experience spanning various industries.

Michael is currently working as a Web Software Engineer II at Mednet since April 2022.

Prior to this, they worked at Trinity from 2016 to 2021. During their time at Trinity, Michael held multiple roles, including Senior Data Integration Engineer, Data Integration Engineer, and UI Developer. As a Senior Data Integration Engineer, they utilized Google Cloud Platform to centralize company data in BigQuery and automated updates using Cloud Functions, Pub/Subs, and a control database in Firebase. Michael also transformed raw data into useful tables for management. As a Data Integration Engineer, they worked on A/B tests for clients' websites, primarily using CSS and Javascript.

Before joining Trinity, Michael worked as a Web Designer at Zumbro Designs from 2015 to 2016. Here, they specialized in designing and creating websites, with a focus on SEO, social networking, and Wordpress.

Michael also gained experience in the healthcare industry, working as a Clinical Assistant at Mayo Clinic from 2012 to 2014. In this role, they collected information from patients for the doctors and coordinated their schedules.

Additionally, Michael has a background as a Chef at Zzest from 2010 to 2012, where they cooked meals efficiently and experimented with creating new dishes for the menu.

Michael also served in the US Army as an Infantryman from 2006 to 2009.

Michael Arends earned an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Culinary Arts/Chef Training from Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts-Minneapolis in 2009-2010. Prior to that, they obtained another AAS degree in Law Enforcement Investigation and Interviewing from Alexandria Technical and Community College in the years 2004-2006.
