Emily Heathcote has extensive experience in the field of clinical research, with a focus on monitoring clinical trials in various therapeutic areas such as oncology, CNS, cardiology, and diabetics and endocrinology. Emily started their career at Quintiles as a Clinical Trial Assistant, responsible for maintaining tracking systems and assisting with in-house monitoring tasks. Emily quickly progressed to the role of In-house Clinical Research Associate/Research Coordinator, where they remotely monitored multiple phase III-IV mega trials across multiple countries in compliance with regulations. Emily then became a Senior In-house Clinical Research Associate, continuing their remote monitoring work and taking on additional responsibilities such as training colleagues. In 2014, they transitioned to the position of Clinical Research Associate (CRA2), where they monitored trial sites in Denmark, Sweden, and the UK, as well as remotely monitored trials in Sweden. Emily joined IQVIA in 2010 as a Clinical Research Associate (CRA) and worked in that role until their current position as Principal Clinical Research Associate at Medpace, where they continue to contribute their expertise in clinical research.
Emily Heathcote completed a Global Trainee Program on Clinical Trials at the Trial Form Support Academy in 2009. Prior to that, from 2005 to 2009, they studied Medical Science at Lund University.
