Kelsey Carter has a diverse work experience. Kelsey started their career as a Guest Worker at the US Environmental Protection Agency in 2012. In 2013, they worked as a Genentech MURF Undergraduate Research Fellow at the California Institute of Technology and also as an Undergraduate Pre-Clinical Research Assistant at The Ohio State University.
From 2014 onwards, Kelsey has been employed at Medpace. Kelsey started as a Clinical Operations Senior Intern and gradually progressed to roles such as Clinical Research Associate I and II, Lead Clinical Research Associate - Experienced II, and Clinical Trial Manager (Global). Kelsey currently holds the role of Associate Director, Clinical Trial Management at Medpace since April 2022.
Kelsey Carter holds a Master's degree in Clinical Pharmacology/Applied Clinical and Preclinical Research from The Ohio State University College of Medicine. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences with a minor in Interdisciplinary Neuroscience from The Ohio State University. Kelsey completed their high school education at Mount Notre Dame High School, where they received a College/University Preparatory and Advanced High School/Secondary Diploma. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including Protecting Human Research Participants from The National Institutes of Health, Qualified Pharmacy Technician from the Ohio Board of Pharmacy, and various certifications related to medical devices and research compliance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative.
