Sivanand Mahapatra

Sivanand Mahapatra has over 10 years of experience in the business and technology industry. In 2010, they became a Partner at Engineering & Machinery. In 2014, they were Business Head at Wonderchef Home Appliances Pvt Ltd. In 2015, they joined DropKaffe Food & Beverages Pvt. Ltd. as Lead - Expansion, where they were responsible for setting up of central production unit, fulfillment centers, and managing operations and undertaking growth and marketing activities. In 2016, they became Practice Area Lead at Tracxn, where they led the global consumer tech team and maintained a 100% coverage of the funded universe. In 2017, they founded NEURAi, a unified business analytics platform, designed for self-service and with multi-cloud integration powered by Apache Spark. In 2018, they founded Sinimo Industries, a D2C brand for home and kitchen appliances built around the concepts of sustainability, aesthetics, and conscious consumption. In 2021, they joined the Startup Leadership Program as a Fellow. Most recently, in 2022, they became Co-Founder at MedPiper Technologies, Inc (YCombinator - S20 | NSRCEL, IIM-B).

Sivanand Mahapatra holds a Diploma in Management from SDA Bocconi in Business Administration and Management, General and a Bachelor of Technology - BTech from Bharath University in Mechanical Engineering. Additionally, they obtained a Six Sigma - Green Belt from the Govt. of India in June 2011.
