Rahul Agarwal

Rahul Agarwal has a diverse work experience in various positions and industries. Rahul is currently the Co-Founder and COO at Medplum since February 2022. Prior to this, Rahul worked as a Customer Impact Lead at Applied Intuition within NewCo from January 2021 to April 2022. Rahul also held a role as a Software Engineer in Machine Learning at Palantir Technologies from December 2013 to April 2018.

Before that, Rahul worked as a Staff Engineer at Grok (formerly Numenta) from August 2011 to August 2013, where they made significant contributions to Numenta's Cortical Learning Algorithm (CLA) and helped develop the Grok distributed computing engine. Additionally, Rahul worked as a Consultant at Three Koi Labs and as a Kinect Software Development Intern at Microsoft, where they created a muscle tracking and analysis system for Kinect motion sensor for Xbox 360 games.

Furthermore, Rahul gained experience as a Trading Intern at Jump Trading, LLC and as a Software Engineering Intern at Electronic Arts. With their diverse background, Rahul brings a strong technical foundation and leadership skills to their work.

Rahul Agarwal pursued higher education at various prestigious institutions. From 2018 to 2020, they attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology where they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. Prior to that, they studied at Stanford University from 2010 to 2011, completing a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science. Continuing their education at the same institution, Rahul obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from Stanford University, where they attended from 2006 to 2010.
