Liza Shrestha

Liza Shrestha has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and organizations. Liza began their career as an Intern at Crowne Plaza Soaltee Kathmandu, InterContinental Hotels Group in 2005. In 2006, they became a Teaching Assistant at Kathmandu University, a role they held until 2008. Liza then joined The University of Iowa as a Graduate Research Assistant, where they conducted research in the field of biomedical engineering and completed their Masters of Science degree. During their time at the university, they also worked as a Teaching Assistant and gained experience in assisting with various academic tasks. In 2015, Liza worked as a Non Clinical Testing / CAE Engineering Intern at Cook Research Incorporated. Currently, they are a Software Engineer and Biomedical Image Analyst at MedQIA, working in collaboration with UCLA Health since 2016.

Liza Shrestha completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Mechanical Engineering from Nepal jobs from 2002 to 2006. Liza then pursued their Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Iowa, graduating between 2008 and 2010. Later, they continued their education at the University of Iowa and obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biomedical Engineering from 2010 to 2013.
