Ryan Brownewell

Ryan Brownewell has been working in the software industry since 2012. Ryan started at Kepware, a PTC Technology, as a Quality Assurance Engineer, where they learned the ropes of QA and the software industry. Ryan then transitioned into a Senior Software Automation Engineer role, where they built their coding skills in C# and used their experience from manual testing. Ryan was then promoted to Quality Assurance Lead, a role which was roughly 50% individual contributor and 50% people manager. Ryan eventually worked their way up to Quality Assurance Manager, where they had 5 direct reports and reported to the Director of QA. Most recently, they joined MedRhythms, Inc. as an Engineering Senior Supervisor and Software Quality Assurance Engineer.

Ryan Brownewell attended the University of Maine from 2008 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering. Prior to that, they attended Old Town High School from 2004 to 2008.
