Julian Gong

Julian (Zhiliang) Gong is a technology leader with extensive experience in software development, business analysis, and project management. Currently serving as Chief Technology Officer at Meds.com since August 2018, Julian is focused on developing intelligent systems for online doctor-patient interactions while actively recruiting skilled software engineers and data scientists. Prior to this role, Julian founded and served as CEO of PanorArt, creating an e-commerce platform for international art trading. Additionally, Julian earned a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from the University of Chicago, where notable contributions included building open-source software for x-ray fluorescence data analysis and serving as a teaching assistant. Leadership experience also includes presidency of the Chinese Students and Scholars Association at the University of Chicago, achieving significant fundraising and organizational restructuring. Julian holds a Bachelor's Degree with honors in Physical Sciences from the University of Science and Technology of China.
