Mickheila J. is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in diversity initiatives, workforce inclusivity, and civil rights. Currently serving on the Board of Directors for Meds & Food for Kids and as Vice Chair of the Nassau County Minority Affairs Council, Mickheila is actively involved in community engagement through leadership roles at the Elmont Cultural Center. Previously, Mickheila held the position of Chief Executive Officer at Citadelle Consulting LLC, specializing in equitable workplace practices, and served as a professor at Hofstra University's Maurice A. Deane School of Law. With a solid foundation in law, including roles as Senior Director of Career Services & Diversity Initiatives at the New York State Unified Court System and as an attorney in various human rights and legal capacities, Mickheila has consistently advocated for civil rights and justice throughout a diverse career. Academic credentials include a Law degree with a focus on Critical Race Studies from UCLA and an A.B. in Psychology from Princeton University.
