Sruthi Dontu

Sruthi Dontu is an undergraduate teaching assistant for Anatomy Lab at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where responsibilities include leading review sessions and lectures for over 30 students. With experience as a University Admissions Ambassador, Sruthi has facilitated campus tours and provided mentorship to prospective students. As an undergraduate research assistant, Sruthi investigates the roles of spectrin variants in neuronal development. Additionally, as a habilitation technician with Maxim Healthcare Group, Sruthi works directly with patients with autism and apraxia, and as a medical scribe at MedScribes, provides documentation support for the UNC Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Sruthi holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology, Chemistry, Neuroscience, and Health and Society from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and completed the IB Diploma Program at CHIREC International School.
