Paul Hirst

Paul Hirst has accumulated a diverse range of work experience over the years. Paul started in 2010 as an Academic Board Member at the Australian Institute of Management. From 2012 to 2015, they served as a Board Member at Awards Victoria, contributing to the organization's empowerment programs for young Victorians. In 2012, they also joined Robinson Reserve Neighbourhood House as a Management Committee Member and Treasurer.

In 2013, Paul took on the role of Executive Manager - Aged and Community Solutions at HealthConnex, where they later became the Chief Operations Officer. HealthConnex focuses on providing health and community services. Following their time at HealthConnex, Paul held various positions, including Principal at What the Health and CEO/Director at Medtasker, where they addressed clinical communication issues in acute settings.

In 2016, they also became an Executive Director at Kianza, and in 2018 they took on a position as a Non-Executive Director at Wild Bamboo, providing strategic advice to the organization.

More recently, Paul has been involved in the financial services sector, serving as a Non-Executive Director at Flemington Financial Services Limited, managing the Flemington Community Bank, and Wise Management Services.

Paul Hirst has an extensive education history. Paul obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from the Australian Institute of Management between 2007 and 2017. Prior to that, they completed a Graduate Diploma in Health Informatics from Monash University from 2004 to 2006. Paul holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Genetics from Massey University, earned between 1993 and 1997, as well as a Bachelor of Science (BSc Hons) in Genetics from the same university, achieved from 1989 to 1992. Paul'shigh school education was completed at Palmerston North Boys High School from 1984 to 1988. Additionally, they hold a certification in Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) from Scrum.org, obtained in 2018.
