Hiroshi Ohno

Hiroshi Ohno is an accomplished professional in clinical research and project management with extensive experience in the medical device industry. Currently serving as a Senior Principal Clinical Research Specialist at Medtronic since February 2017, Hiroshi manages Investigator-Initiated Studies. Previous roles include Senior Manager at Medtronic’s Project Management Office and various management positions at Toray Industries, where responsibilities encompassed directing clinical research studies and developing novel medical devices, particularly in the area of atrial fibrillation ablation. Hiroshi’s career began in research roles in pharmaceutical laboratories and biotechnology, having earned an MS in Applied Chemistry from The University of Tokyo and a PhD in Applied Chemistry from the Tokyo Institute of Technology.
