Leonardo Nava Guerra

Leonardo Nava Guerra, PhD, is a Principal Data Science and Signals Engineer at Medtronic Diabetes, with previous roles as a Senior Algorithm and Analytics Software Engineer and Senior Biomedical Engineer. Prior to this, Leonardo served as a Post Doctoral Research Fellow at Children's Hospital Los Angeles and worked as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Southern California for the course BME511 - Physiological Control Systems. Early in the career, Leonardo was an Undergraduate Researcher at Instituto de Ingeniería de la UNAM, focusing on the design and implementation of control strategies for a magnetic levitation system. Leonardo completed a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Southern California and holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechatronics Engineering from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México.
