Joseph Katz has a diverse work experience. Joseph started as a Research Assistant at the Center for Resuscitation Science in 2007 and stayed there until 2011. After that, they worked as an Extern at the University of Pennsylvania ULAR for a few months. In 2012, they were a Summer Research Student at the Swine Teaching and Research Unit. From 2015 to 2017, they worked at the Coral Springs Animal Hospital, initially as a Rotating Intern and then as a Staff Emergency and Critical Care Veterinarian. In 2017, they joined the VCA Hollywood Animal Hospital as a Staff Emergency and Critical Care Veterinarian, where they worked until 2018. From 2019, they worked as the Director of the Emergency and Critical Care Department at the Jupiter Pet Emergency & Specialty Center, and they currently hold the same position at MedVet since 2022.
Joseph Katz completed their education with a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the University of Pennsylvania, which they pursued between 2004 and 2008. Following this, they enrolled at Drexel University College of Medicine from 2009 to 2011, pursuing a Master's degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences (MLAS). Finally, from 2011 to 2015, Joseph Katz attended the University of Pennsylvania to obtain a Veterinary Medicine Doctorate (VMD) in the field of Veterinary Medicine.
