Silvio Moreto

Silvio Moreto has a diverse work experience, starting with their current position as the CTO at Medway | Educação Médica since November 2021. Prior to that, they were the CEO & Co-founder of Singular App from October 2020 to November 2021. Silvio also founded Varstation, where they served as the CEO & Co-founder from September 2016 to December 2019, focusing on enabling precision medicine through genetic data management. Additionally, Silvio worked as an Innovation Engineer - Coordinator at Hospital Albert Einstein from November 2015 to December 2019. Before that, they were a Software Analyst at Instituto de Pesquisas Eldorado, where they specialized in image processing and computer vision projects from November 2014 to November 2015. Silvio's earlier experiences include being the Lead Developer at iClinic - Software médico para gestão de clínicas from June 2012 to November 2014, and working in research and software development roles at Instituto Edumed and Innolution - Sistemas de Informática Ltda, Innolution, Brasil respectively.

Silvio Moreto has a diverse education history. In 2018, Silvio attended Stanford University for the Healthcare Innovation program in Stanford Biodesign. Prior to that, from 2010 to 2012, they pursued a Master's degree in Bioengineering at USP - Universidade de São Paulo. In their undergraduate years, from 2006 to 2010, Silvio completed a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Informatics with a focus on Computer Science, also at USP - Universidade de São Paulo. In addition to their formal education, Silvio has obtained certifications such as HIS 2019 - Healthcare Innovation Show from Ubm Brazil Feiras E Eventos and GATK Datascience Platform Workshop from the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard in 2019.
