Alberto Quintero Delgado has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Alberto started their career as a Web Developer at Universidad del Zulia in 2008, where they designed and developed a survey system using Ruby on Rails, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Alberto then worked as a Software Development Intern at CorpoElec in 2009, developing a system for maintaining their internal database using PHP and Javascript. Alberto also worked as a Software Engineer at Centro de Investigación y Desarrollo Tecnológico, Universidad del Zulia, where they played a key role in designing a Content Management System and an Editorial Management Software.
In 2010, Alberto became a Research and Teaching Assistant at Universidad del Zulia, taking charge of the development of a Knowledge Management Information System and assisting other teachers in their classes and research projects. Alberto then joined TMH International Group in 2011 as a Software Developer, where they played a major role in developing a new version of an Electronic Medical Records System from scratch, including designing a new relational database.
In 2013, Alberto worked as a Software Engineering Intern at Laboratoire Electronique, Informatique et Image – LE2I, where they developed software for manipulating a 3 sensor camera in Linux for integration with the Robot Operative System. Alberto continued their work at LE2I in 2014, this time as a Computer Vision Research Intern, where they proposed a method using Hierarchical Clustering and motion features for analyzing video sequences from surveillance cameras.
From 2014 to 2018, Alberto worked as a Lead R&D Engineer in Computer Vision at Fitle, where they specialized in computer vision and was responsible for leading research and development projects. In 2018, they co-founded View Factor, contributing to the company's success as a co-founder.
Currently, Alberto is working at Meero as a Team Lead in R&D, where they hold a leadership role in the research and development team.
Alberto Quintero Delgado pursued their higher education beginning in 2005 at the Universidad del Zulia, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Computer Science in 2011. Alberto furthered their academic achievements by attending the Université de Bourgogne from 2012 to 2014, where they obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in the field of Computer Vision.
