Kyle Thacker

Kyle Thacker is a seasoned professional in reservoir engineering with extensive experience at MEG Energy Corp., where Kyle has held various leadership positions since June 2012, including Sr Technical Reservoir Advisor and Technical Lead for Subsurface Technology. Prior roles at MEG Energy include Reservoir and Geoscience Lead and Sr. Reservoir Engineer. Kyle's prior experience includes co-op placements at Syncrude Canada Ltd. and Canmet Energy, as well as a summer position at Apache Corporation and a farm hand role at Thacker Ranch. Educational credentials include a BSc in Chemical Engineering (Co-op) from the University of Alberta and an Upstream Petroleum Industry Certificate of Achievement from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology.
