Genina Abrau

Genina Abrau has a solid background in software quality assurance (QA) and test automation. Genina is currently working as a Software QA Test Engineer at MEGA The Privacy Company since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Accenture as a Test Automation Engineer Senior Analyst from 2021 to 2022. In this role, they designed and implemented test automation frameworks, developed test scripts for BDD using Cucumber, and performed manual functional and regression testing.

Before Accenture, Genina worked at AWS Philippines as a Senior Software QA Engineer from 2016 to 2021. In this position, they led the QA team during in-sprint testing and patch releases, assisted the Test Manager in planning testing resources and schedules, and provided feedback based on previous experience during requirement analysis meetings.

Genina Abrau earned their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from Bohol Island State University between the years 2011 and 2016. In addition, they obtained the ISTQB® Certified Tester, Foundation Level certification from the ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board in October 2018. Genina also achieved the Philnits Fundamental Information Technology Engineer Examination (FE) certification from Philnits in October 2016.
