Mickaël Da Cruz Guimarães

Mickaël Da Cruz Guimarães has a diverse work experience. Mickaël currently works as a C++ / QT Software Developer at MEGA The Privacy Company since November 2021. Prior to that, they worked at AltoQi Tecnologia em Informática from May 2013 to October 2021. At AltoQi, they served as a Software Analyst and was responsible for various tasks, including the development of new tools for the Electric Engineering module and the migration of a code base to Qt and MSVC Compiler. Mickaël also developed the 3D Visualization Engine using OpenGL and GLSL Shaders.

From October 2012 to April 2013, Mickaël worked at Pixeon Medical Systems as an R&D Software Analyst. Mickaël was involved in the development of an HTML-5 remote control app for mobile devices and the maintenance of a medical software suite using technologies such as C++, Qt, HTML5, and WebSockets.

Before that, they worked at AltoQi Tecnologia em Informática from June 2010 to October 2012 as a Software Programmer, where their responsibilities included the development of a CAD-based engineering software platform and new features for the Electric Engineering and Hydraulic Engineering modules. In this role, they utilized technologies such as C++ and Scrum.

Prior to that, Mickaël worked at Malwee Malhas from August 2009 to May 2010 as a Software Programmer. Their tasks involved creating in-house web-based applications for textile-related resources and migrating the existing system interface to a Java/Flex-based interface using technologies like PHP, Java, and Flex with ActionScript.

Lastly, from June 2006 to December 2008, they worked at Dmailer as a Desktop Applications Project Manager. Their responsibilities included the development of synchronization software, managing an offshore-based development team, and providing support to retail and OEM customers.

Mickaël Da Cruz Guimarães began their education in 2001 at Lycée technique Saint Louis, where they pursued a Technical Qualification in Industrial Computing until 2003. Mickaël then attended Université de Reims Champagne-Ardenne from 2003 to 2004, earning a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Digital Imaging. In 2004, Mickaël continued their education at Teesside University, completing a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree with a focus on Computer Aided Graphical Technology Applications in 2005.

In addition to their formal education, Mickaël has obtained several certifications. In December 2017, they completed Cryptography I from Coursera. Mickaël also obtained a certification in Machine Learning from Coursera Course Certificates in April 2016. Furthermore, Mickaël holds a certification in Image and Video Processing: From Mars to Hollywood with a stop at the hospital, which was verified by Coursera in March 2014.
