Zubair Bawany has extensive work experience in various financial roles. Zubair started their career in 1996 as a Treasury Dealer/Analyst at Mashreqbank psc., where they managed FX deals and overseas placements for the bank.
In 2000, they joined Masterfoods USA, a Division of Mars Incorporated, as a Product Accountant for the Seeds of Change - Organic Food Division. Zubair later became the Supply Finance Manager for the Petfood Division in North America, where they consolidated and analyzed period performance for eight pet food manufacturing sites.
In 2006, Zubair joined Vishay as a Sr. Cost Accounting Manager for Passive Resistors, overseeing plant controllers in Ontario, CA, and Mexicali, Mexico. Zubair managed cost accounting functions and ensured compliance with Sarbanes Oxley procedures.
Zubair then worked at Authentic Specialty Foods, a Hormel Acquired Company, as a Cost Accounting Manager. In this role, they managed cost accounting functions in a co-pack environment with multiple manufacturing locations.
Since 2007, Zubair has been employed at MegaMex Foods. Zubair initially served as a Corporate Controller and later transitioned to the roles of Financial Planning and Accounting Manager, and Senior Accounting Manager. In these positions, they managed and consolidated accounting functions for a $750M food business with subsidiaries and multiple entity consolidation. Zubair also oversaw month-end closing, tax preparation, and filing processes.

Zubair Bawany has a strong educational background in finance, particularly in the area of business administration. Zubair first attended the Institute of Business Administration, where they completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance. This program took place from 1986 to 1990. After that, they pursued further education at San Diego State University and obtained another MBA degree in Finance from 1990 to 1992.
In addition to their formal education, Zubair Bawany has also obtained a certification called "2-Minute Tips for Senior Leaders" from LinkedIn, which was attained in April 2020.
