William Yates

William Yates is an experienced plant manager and engineering professional with extensive expertise in the nonwovens industry. Currently serving as the Plant Manager and SEO at Mehler Texnologies® since February 2024, previous positions include Projects and Engineering Manager, Plant Manager, and Plant Operations Manager at Freudenberg Nonwovens from February 2011 to February 2024. Earlier roles include General Manager at Spuntex Nonwovens and Plant Manager at Carolina Nonwovens LLC. Yates also has a long tenure at Freudenberg Nonwovens, where significant contributions included starting production lines in Germany and Taiwan, and leading the manufacturing of Spunbond processes from 1996 to 2005. Yates earned a degree from North Carolina State University between 1994 and 1999.
