Ole Jacob Øverseth

Ole Jacob Øverseth has a diverse range of work experience in the security field. Ole Jacob is currently working as a Technical Lead - Security at Meinhardt Group since November 2022. Prior to this, they were a Security Risk Manager APAC at PINKERTON | Comprehensive Risk Management from September 2021 to October 2022.

From October 2019 to August 2021, Øverseth worked as an APAC Senior Global Assurance and Validation Analyst at AT-RISK International, Inc., where they were responsible for conducting security assurance assessments of Amazon corporate offices in Asia-Pacific.

Ole Jacob also served as a Senior Security Consultant at Arup from July 2016 to October 2019, where they conducted Threat, Vulnerability & Risk Assessments and developed Security Protection Plans for buildings in Singapore.

Before that, Øverseth worked as a Group Operations Manager at Infinite Security Solutions from December 2014 to February 2016, managing operations and logistics for the company.

Ole Jacob gained experience as a Security Consultant at ST Education & Training Pte Ltd from October 2011 to September 2014, where they conducted Security Risk Assessments and developed Security Protection Plans for construction projects and existing buildings.

Øverseth's earlier experience includes serving as a Military Police (2nd Lieutenant) in the Norwegian Home Guard from 2001 to 2009. During their military service, they took part in NATO exercises and was part of an all-voluntary Quick Reaction Force.

Ole Jacob also worked as a Security Officer at Loomis Norway/Securitas Norway from January 2003 to September 2008, where they conducted mobile patrolling and alarm response.

Øverseth began their career in the Royal Norwegian Air Force as a Military Police leader (Sergeant/2nd Lieutenant) from March 1999 to December 1999, where they were in charge of Military Police Duties and served as Second in Command of Base Security.

Overall, Øverseth has a strong background in security risk management, threat assessment, and consultancy, with experience in both corporate and military settings.

Ole Jacob Øverseth completed their Master of Science (MSc) degree in Counter Terrorism Studies from Liverpool John Moores University between 2017 and 2020.
