Christopher Woldstad has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Christopher started their career as an NMR Technician at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln in December 2012, where they worked until May 2013. Following this, they joined the University of Nebraska Medical Center in May 2013 as a Graduate Research Fellow, working under the guidance of Dr. Yutong Liu, Dr. Howard Gendelman, and the late Dr. During their time there, they gained valuable research experience and contributed to various projects until May 2019.
In 2019, Christopher joined Weill Cornell Medicine as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Brain Health Imaging Institute (BHII) within the Department of Radiology. Christopher worked under the supervision of Dr. and focused on neuroimaging research. During their three-year tenure there, they made significant contributions to the field.
In January 2020, they took on an additional role as an Adjunct Professor at Fordham University. Christopher taught courses and shared their expertise until August 2022.
Most recently, Christopher has been appointed as an Associate Director of Medical & Scientific Affairs at MEI, starting in January 2023. In this role, they will bring their knowledge and expertise to contribute to the organization's goals in the medical and scientific field.
Christopher Woldstad pursued their education in a field related to neuroscience. Christopher started by attending The University of Texas at Austin between 2008 and 2012, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Neurobiology and Neurosciences. Following their undergraduate studies, Christopher Woldstad went on to enroll at the University of Nebraska Medical Center from 2013 to 2018. During this period, they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Pharmacology and Experimental Neuroscience.
