Camilla Axelsson

Camilla Axelsson has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Their most recent role was as the Head of Group Business Controlling, Support & Financial Analysis at MEKO, a market leader in the automotive aftermarket. Prior to that, they served as the CFO for BA MECA/Mekonomen and worked as an Interim Project Manager in Finance. Camilla also held the position of Fullmäktigeledamot at Svensk Handel Pension Tjänstepensionsförening. Earlier in their career, they worked as the Finance Director for Ving Sverige och NE Dynamic Finance Business Partner, the CFO for Inflight Service, and the Controller for Apoteket AB. Camilla also has experience as a Company Controller and Project Administrator at Inflight Service, a Controller and Ekonomiansvarig at Apoteket AB, and as a Project Administrator and Project Office Manager at Manpower and Karlöf Kommunikation, respectively.

Camilla Axelsson pursued their education at Stockholm University from 1991 to 1994, where they obtained a degree in the East Asia Programme and Business Administration, with a focus on Japanese orientation and Business Administration. In 2009, they attended Lexicon and completed a course in Excel - Calculation Models. Camilla also attended Företagsuniversitetet in 2004 and received certification as a Certified Controller in Företagsekonomi/Controlling. In the same year, they obtained a Diploma in Leadership for non-executives from Chefakademin. Moreover, they acquired a Diploma in Project Management from Chefakademin in 2003, and completed courses in Project Management according to PEJL and Project Planning Silberplan in 2002. Additionally, they are currently pursuing a certification as a Certifierad professionell styrelseledamot from Di Akademi, which is expected to be obtained in 2023.
