Tara Hamilton-Whitaker

Tara Hamilton-Whitaker has extensive work experience in various leadership roles in the technology and media industries. Tara is currently the Chief Executive Officer of MEL Science, a global EdTech company focused on science education for children. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Operating Officer at MEL Science and was responsible for managing their product offerings and VR/AR learning tools.

Before joining MEL Science, Tara worked at Just Eat Takeaway.com, where they held the position of SVP Delivery and EVP Delivery. In these roles, they managed large tech programs and teams across multiple countries, leading to the successful merger of Just Eat and Takeaway.com. Tara played a key role in implementing a new tech operating model and strategic planning process, resulting in significant financial growth and improved speed to market. Prior to Just Eat Takeaway.com, Tara held leadership positions at TI Media and Time Inc. UK, where they focused on digital strategy, operations, and product management. Their work included implementing agile working practices, reducing release cycles, and winning industry awards for social media marketing.

Tara began their career as a Project Manager at NESTA, where they managed various projects and gained experience in project delivery and team management.
