Tim O’Callaghan

Prior to his appointment at the Chamber in November 2020, Tim spent 12 months as Ambassador, Business & Corporate Victoria for the Bushfire Recovery and prior to that, he spent 27 years with Qantas finishing there as Regional Manager, Victoria & Tasmania.

Tim has spent nearly all of his corporate life in the Travel, Tourism and Aviation space. Given this background, one of Tim’s key focus areas is the Visitor Economy and how the Chamber represents this dynamic and challenging sector. Another key role is the Government Liaison and building The Chambers relationships with key stakeholders within Government. Other segments to Tim’s role include managing a team obtaining new Melbourne Chamber of Commerce memberships, The Chambers relationship with Regional Chambers and the Exporting and Consulting business.
