Hannah McDonald is a dedicated surgical resident at The Royal Melbourne Hospital since January 2023, following a medical internship at Albury Wodonga Health where an Emerging Leaders Scholarship was awarded. Hannah contributed to the JMO Clinical Training Committee and participated in a hand hygiene audit. Previous experience includes tutoring through Deakin University’s Indigenous Tutorial Network, with a focus on identifying learning needs and developing student-centric resources. Hannah has also worked as a medical student at Eastern Health and served as a research associate in the Neurogenetics Research Program at the University of Adelaide, where responsibilities included data analysis and genetic manipulation. Hannah holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from Deakin University and a Bachelor of Science with Honours from The University of Queensland.
