Carolyn Merriman

Carolyn Merriman is a seasoned director and executive producer with extensive experience in storytelling and digital media. Currently serving as the Director and Executive Producer for the Future of StoryTelling since October 2011, Carolyn also holds the position of Executive Producer at Melcher Media. Carolyn founded Shortstack in 2010, focusing on creating innovative apps for children, while previously working as a Freelance Producer at Curious Brain and as a Media Producer at Night & Day Studios, where notable projects included mobile applications for museums. Carolyn's early career featured roles as an Associate Producer for the award-winning documentary "The Unforeseen" and as a Production Designer for various independent films and music videos. Education was completed at Washington University in St. Louis, graduating in 1999.
