Roger Fulton has extensive experience in finance and operations, with a focus on financial planning, analysis, and control. Roger started their career as a Financial Accountant at Lizars Ltd, where they were responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities. Roger also played a key role in implementing new sales ledger processes and successfully integrating the finance system for the newly formed business.
Fulton then moved on to Phoenix Car Company, where they held various roles, including Management Accountant, FP&A Finance Manager for Honda, Kia, Suzuki, and Financial Controller for Phoenix Hyndland in Glasgow. In these positions, they oversaw the preparation and presentation of financial performance analysis, monthly forecasts, and annual budgets. Roger also worked closely with department directors to set targets and drive business performance.
Later, Fulton joined Ebiquity plc as a Financial Controller, where they managed a team of 11 direct reports and provided financial planning and analysis support to the Group CFO and business unit directors. Roger was responsible for delivering monthly balance sheet and profit and loss analysis, as well as presenting market share and benchmark information to the board of directors. Additionally, they played a key role in preparing financial investment analysis and business cases for new opportunities.
Most recently, Fulton served as the Group Finance & Operations Director at Meli Melo, where they provided strategic financial leadership and oversaw finance operations. Currently, they hold the position of Finance Director at Bay Media.
Roger Fulton obtained a BA degree in Business Studies Majoring in Accounting from the University of the West of Scotland. Roger completed this degree program from 1995 to 1998. Later, they pursued further education at The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, where they obtained an ACMA degree in Accounting from 2002 to 2005.
