Brian McDonell

Brian McDonell is an accomplished entrepreneur with extensive experience in the apparel industry. As Co-Founder and President of melin since January 2013, Brian has been instrumental in creating a new category of premium headwear by sourcing top-quality materials and establishing strong partnerships with elite retailers. Prior to melin, Brian co-founded Doin Damage Inc., a premium apparel brand development and sales agency, from January 2010 to January 2013, focusing on connecting lifestyle brands with retail partners. Brian's earlier roles include Sales Manager at TapouT from March 2005 to December 2010, where responsibilities included building the wholesale division, and Southwest Sales Representative at Split USA from 2005 to 2008, driving sales growth across multiple states. Brian holds degrees in Apparel Manufacturing and Management from FIDM and has foundational education from California State University, Chico.
