Dave Baran

Dave Baran has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Dave started their career at Abbott Laboratories as a Sr. Clinical Research Associate in Clinical Pharmacology in 2002 and worked there until 2003. Dave then joined Takeda Pharmaceuticals as a Sr. Clinical Study Manager from 2003 to 2007. Following that, they worked at H. Lundbeck A/S, where they held various roles including Sr. Clinical Project Manager, Project Manager for US Drug Development, and Project Director for R&D Corporate Project Management. Dave worked at H. Lundbeck A/S from 2007 to 2014. Currently, they are working at Melinta Therapeutics as the Executive Director of Alliance Management & Strategic Projects, a role they started in September 2021. Prior to this, they held the role of Senior Director of Alliance Management at Melinta Therapeutics from 2018. Dave also served as the Director of Project Management at Melinta Therapeutics from 2014.

Dave Baran attended the University of Illinois Chicago from 1997 to 2000, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biology.
