Kibra Yohannes

Kibra Yohannes is the current Program Associate at The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. Kibra has held various positions in the past, such as Founding Executive Director at AFRICA'SOUT!, Director of Volunteers at the Association to Benefit Children, and Director at LIU Brooklyn, School of Continuing Studies. Kibra has also been with Arts Engine, Inc. as the Director of Programs + Operations and The Philadelphia Tribune as a Consultant for Archival + Preservation.

Kibra Yohannes has a Master's Degree in Social Sciences from Long Island University and a BA in Anthropology with a minor in Arabic Language from the University of Virginia. Kibra also studied Arabic Language in Morocco at the School for International Training.

Kibra Yohannes reports to Emil J. Kang, Program Director, Arts & Cultural Heritage. They work with Isabel Quinzaños Alonso - Program Associate, Abigail Choudhury - Program Associate, and Natasha Forrester - Program Assistant.
