Abril Valverde Rascón

Abril Valverde Rascón is an experienced research professional currently serving as a Research Assistant at Melt&Marble since November 2022. Previous roles include Site Payments Associate II at PPD, where responsibilities involved processing investigator payments, managing site study budgets, and resolving payment-related issues. Abril has also contributed to the FEMSA Biotechnology Center as a Research Assistant, focusing on cancer cell culture projects and compound identification through advanced analytical techniques. Additional research experience includes a summer internship at the University of Calgary and participation in the iGem Tec-Chihuahua 2015 team. Abril holds a Master’s degree in Biotechnology from Chalmers University of Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey.
