Chad Adams

Chad Adams currently serves as Chief Relationship Officer at Members 1st Federal Credit Union since December 2023. Prior to this role, Chad spent over twelve years at NAFCU, progressing from Senior Associate Director of Legislative Affairs to Sr. Director of Legislative Affairs, where lobbying on critical issues for credit unions, such as tax reform and regulatory relief, was a primary focus. Chad's earlier experience includes a position as Summer Law Clerk and Legislative Assistant at Adams and Reese LLP, where research and analysis of legislative priorities for the Obama Administration were conducted. Additionally, Chad worked as a Legislative Assistant for U.S. Representative Chip Pickering, advising on telecommunications and financial services issues. Academically, Chad holds a JD from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law and a BA in English and Literary History from Georgetown University.
