Matthew Thomas

Manager, Cardiopulmonary Rehab And Employee Fitness at CHI Memorial

Matthew Thomas currently serves as President Elect of the Clinical Exercise Physiology Association (CEPA) since June 2024. With extensive experience in cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, Matthew has held the position of Manager at CHI Memorial since August 2019, overseeing Cardiopulmonary Rehab and Employee Fitness. Previous roles include Exercise Physiologist at Goshen Hospital (May 2014 - September 2019), where responsibilities included supervising cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation as well as stress testing. Matthew also held the Clinical Coordinator position at Goshen Health from November 2017 to August 2019 and served as an Exercise Specialist at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital. Matthew's educational background includes a Master of Business Administration in Health Care Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University, a Master’s Degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology from Ball State University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Manchester University.
