Ray Gosine is a distinguished academic and professional in the field of engineering with extensive experience across multiple institutions. Currently, Ray holds the position of Professor in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering at the University of Toronto, where Ray has been since July 2019, while also serving as a Fellow at CIFAR in the Program on Innovation, Equity & the Future of Prosperity. In addition, Ray has been a Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Memorial University of Newfoundland since 1994, along with roles such as Associate Vice-President (Research) and pro tempore Vice-President (Research). Ray has contributed to various organizations, including Engineers Canada and the Canadian Academy of Engineering as a Fellow, and has been involved with the Canadian Engineering Accreditation Board as a Board Member. Ray's academic achievements include a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Cambridge and a Bachelor of Engineering from Memorial University.
